Twitter Ads
Overview
On Twitter you can promote individual tweets or create a whole campaign with clearly defined objectives. As it is possible to target specific audiences, you can promote your profile to select demographics or even influential personalities.
This is for you if…
You want to grow your audience and brand awareness. 63% of Twitter users are between the ages of 35 and 65. This is a key demographic in terms of both purchasing potential and influence.
There are certain industries that are very active on Twitter. If yours is among them, then you should prioritise building your presence on the platform.
This is why you need it...
63% of Twitter users also follow small businesses. You can fine tune your campaign by using keywords, specific hashtags, targeting by interests and followers (i.e. displaying specific tweets to people who are similar to a certain type of follower) and focusing on demographic markers like gender, age, location and device. These considerations will allow you to create a message that resonates with the people who matter. It also makes Twitter ads surprisingly cost effective.
Twitter Ads explained...
Our approach to Twitter ads allows you to choose between promoting individual tweets or creating a campaign with specific objectives. With campaigns you can choose your objective (from a selection of eight possibilities). These include:
- follows
- visits to website
- retweets
- shares
- app installations.
You only pay when your objective is achieved.
You can also opt to promote your profile, instead of your tweets, in your target audience’s newsfeeds and the profile pages of other accounts. Alternatively, you can have your tweets appear in users’ profiles, as well as pages containing specific conversations.
