SEO SERVICE PROJECT
We started working with RC Geeks in 2014. At the time, they were a relatively small online RC Car retailer. Today, they are one of the largest distributors in the UK, selling a range of cars, drones, imaging technology and toys. It has been an incredible journey.
THE CLIENT BRIEF
When we came into contact with RC Geeks late in 2014 as one of our first clients. They were not sure how to approach their search engine marketing and they had never considered the importance of strategy and technical efficiency within SEO.
They had fantastic customer service and they were already brilliant at producing content. Our challenge was to resolve a large list of on-page SEO issues, and provide strategic direction to the content they were producing.
Once these issues were resolved, we could install a system to make sure that these issues did not reoccur, or if they did, have a system for identifying and handling the issues immediately when they surfaced.
THE STRATEGY
Research Phase
The first step was to create a task list and a plan to resolve it, in order of priority based on the return on investment. We then needed to understand which of the library of content created in-house was duplicate and either repurpose, canonicalise or delete it. After this, we had to ensure the content moving forward was targeted and purposeful, so we researched and laid out a content plan.
Implementation Phase
The next 6 months was a time to roll up the sleeves and resolve a large number of onpage SEO issues. We also had a high quantity of good links to reclaim from imagery used and brand mentions on the web.
Growth Phase
As our work began to show, the site was getting great visibility and traction within its industry. This allowed us to identify more opportunities and capitalise on them to exponentially increase the growth of the site.

After working with RC Geeks for over 5 years on their organic traffic we have seen triple-digit growth in numerous years. Overall we achieved a 451.70% new user increase from organic search (YOY based on 2020 vs 2016).
